I was originally writing a blog post titled: “How 2000s Time Management Games Gave Me Work Ethic,” but as I was scrolling through my emails looking for when I got hired at Jersey Mikes, I found something a little more interesting. When I was a child (2014; 10 years old to 2017; 13 years old) I was obsessed with Littlest Pet Shop (LPS is the community acronym). I made music videos, detailed worlds, practically designer outfits, Emmy winning soap operas, and NTM submissions. In case you are uneducated in the acronym 'NTM', it stands for Next Top Model. While my music videos and screenplays have been lost to time (I got a new IPad), I found my email submissions to LPS creators on YouTube to join their NTM contests. Spoiler alert… no one ever replied.

To Loverforeverlps, June 20^th, 2014: “Hi!! I saw that u are a doing an Ntm and i was wondering if i can squeeze in? Please reply and here is my My pic!!"

 

Theme: Easter

April 19th, 2014: “Hey!!!, Here is the pic. for the Easter Theme!!!! Btw I might send you a different one tomorrow (on Easter tomorrow) so don’t do that one just yet!!! Thanks!!!!"

April 27^th, 2014:

“Ok!!!! Here we go again with picture sending. So yeah here is the picture tell me if you get it!!!”

notes: Much improved I will say. Not sure why she never responded?

To LPS Sarah, August 9^th, 2014: “Hi! I am giving u My nature picture Btw i sent u My colores picture but anyway tell me if you get it…"

Followed up August 10th, 2014: “did you get my nature picture.”

notes: No response, ever. This one was pretty good.

April 19, 2014: “Hey!!, I want to trade for a fluffy bunny (optional because it is really fluffy but I don’t know if it will work though but just asking) and a short haired cat and I am sending you a pic. Of what they look like above this letter or below this letter I forgot so yeah Email me back like when you made your decision and btw I want the dauchsaund that is skinny and has dogs on her ears. Thanks for your time!!!! P.S if you want me to wash them I will.”
